Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Melody Weave. By accessing and using our website, products, and services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please review them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using the Melody Weave website (melodyweave.ca), purchasing products, or commissioning bespoke services, you signify your agreement to these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use our services.

2. Products and Services

Melody Weave specializes in artisan silk products with musical motifs, including scarves, tapestries, instrument covers, and acoustic paneling. All products are handcrafted with attention to detail and quality. While we strive for accuracy in product descriptions and imagery, slight variations in color, texture, and design may occur due to the artisanal nature of our goods and differences in display settings.

Bespoke services are subject to a separate agreement outlining design specifications, timelines, and payment terms, which will be provided upon consultation.

3. Pricing and Payments

All prices listed on the Melody Weave website are in Canadian Dollars (CAD) unless otherwise specified. Prices are subject to change without prior notice. Applicable taxes and shipping fees will be added at checkout. We accept various payment methods as indicated on our website, processed securely through third-party payment gateways.

For bespoke orders, a deposit may be required to commence work, with the balance due upon completion or prior to delivery, as per the custom service agreement.

4. Shipping and Delivery

We aim to process and ship orders promptly. Delivery times may vary depending on destination and product availability. Melody Weave is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers or customs processes. Customers are responsible for any customs duties or import taxes that may apply.

5. Returns and Exchanges

Due to the unique and handcrafted nature of our products, all sales are considered final. However, if an item arrives damaged or there is a significant discrepancy from the product description, please contact us within 7 days of receipt with photographic evidence. We will evaluate the issue on a case-by-case basis and work towards a satisfactory resolution, which may include repair, exchange, or store credit.

Bespoke commissions are non-returnable and non-refundable once work has commenced or upon approval of final design, except in cases of significant defect where Melody Weave is at fault.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the Melody Weave website, including designs, text, graphics, logos, and product images, is the intellectual property of Melody Weave and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution of any content is strictly prohibited.

7. Limitation of Liability

Melody Weave shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use or inability to use our website, products, or services. Our liability, if any, shall be limited to the purchase price of the product or service in question.

8. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of British Columbia, Canada, and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.

9. Changes to Terms

Melody Weave reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page, and your continued use of our website or services after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
